This Independence Day, I think it’s important that we all feel connected and whole. We’ve had a tough past year, haven’t we? It’s crazy how sometimes, tragic events are the cause for bringing us all together again—uniting us for a reason. Fourth of July symbolizes our independence, but sometimes it may not feel like we’re free. That’s why I think this band is so important and beautiful. It represents how we’re included in our country’s red, white, and blue. We’re free to be whoever we want to be. Freedom may have different meanings to each of us, but I hope this serves as a reminder that you’re free and you’re seen.
