Of course, it’s so fun actually having friends, but making them is super intimidating. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m kind of awkward when it comes to first encounters. I remember standing in line to get into an organization meeting my freshman year when I turned to one of my current friends and told her a stupid joke. There will be those people that you look at and just know they’re supposed to be doing life with you. You have to follow your heart (or hearts) when that happens because your life could change for the better just by taking a step out on a limb and striking up a conversation with someone new.
